The Sadness of Marine Mammals
How would you like it if someone forced a
member of your family into a place like this....stood on their nose,
and forced them to perform tricks....so that the owners could line their pockets
with more money....to the tune of an average of $30.00 per person. Would
it be worth the humiliation?
Wouldn't the world be a better place if all our beautiful
orcas were like Corky's family......swimming free in their own,natural
world
Never to be separated from mother and family
Even though she realized a life long dream by actually touching an
Orca, the woman in the picture, who uses the nickname Orca, was saddened by
the imprisonment of Shamu...who is in actuality, Tamarid...forced to be
known, as all the Orcas at Sea World, as Shamu.
